The VG191AD is an advanced thumb-sized fiber optic gyro that combines ultra-lightweight design with low power consumption and instant initialization.
Measuring 24mm in diameter and 48mm in length, this compact gyro offers exceptional low noise performance with 0.012 °/√h ARW and 1 °/h bias stability, setting new standards in the fiber optic gyroscope industry.
Housed in either aluminum or μ-metal, the VG191AD integrates both optics and electronics, consuming just 0.5W of power. It uses RS422 interface and outputs data at 8KHz with a 921.6kBd rate.
Its cylindrical design makes it ideal for such applications as pipeline inspection, underground utility mapping, borehole surveying, and many more.
The VG191AD fiber optic gyroscope is part of the VG091 Series, which features ITAR-free FOGs with both analog and digital outputs and enhanced magnetic immunity.
