The iSBES is a high-frequency single beam echo sounder specifically developed for small unmanned survey vessels operating in inland waters. Featuring an integrated deckless design, it combines a compact form factor with powerful performance.
Equipped with dual-frequency CHIRP technology, the iSBES operates with a 220 kHz primary survey frequency and a 50 kHz backup frequency for deep-water applications, providing seamless depth measurements from 0.15 m to 450 m. Its built-in adaptive bottom-tracking algorithm effectively compensates for roll, pitch, and slope-induced acoustic interference commonly encountered by small USVs, ensuring continuous and reliable bathymetric data even in rough water conditions.
Designed for ease of operation, the system integrates a one-touch start/stop function for simplified deployment. It is well suited for routine bathymetric surveys in rivers and lakes, while also providing dependable performance for deep-water measurements. With its high operational efficiency and excellent environmental adaptability, the iSBES is an ideal solution for a wide range of hydrographic survey applications.
