From Rules to Readiness: Navigating the Global Geospatial Policy Shift

ExpoStages

München, Germany
This panel explores how a fast-moving wave of policy, regulation, and standards , from AI legislation reaching location data to drone rulebooks, data sovereignty measures, and stacked compliance deadlines is reshaping the operating environment for the geospatial industry. Drawing on WGIC's quarterly Geospatial Policy Scan, which tracks developments across the globe , the discussion focuses on how organisations can move from monitoring policy to operational readiness, and how the industry can help shape the rules while they are still being written.
