About the Speaker

John has worked for Cyient, formerly Infotech Enterprises, since 1999. He also runs his own consulting business Airedale Advisory Ltd. As an early proponent of the use of geospatial technology in business, coupled to a background in telecoms and utilities consulting and outsourcing, John has been instrumental in the growth of Cyient and in helping geospatial become mainstream in business. John became Cyient’s President - Europe in 2020. In this role he is responsible for the company’s presence in 12 countries, and for its 1,500 associates across Europe. In addition, he undertakes consulting and advisory work and is a Statutory Director of the World Geospatial Industry Council.
