About the Speaker
Alex Key is an AI engineer for spatial software and founder of panoriq, where he helps spatial software vendors bring AI agents into their products - deeply integrated with geodata and GIS.
His work always starts from the practitioners' side: the real workflows of people managing farmland, mines, infrastructure, or 3D scans - and the question of which repetitive parts an agent can take off their plate.
Alex combines a background in geoinformatics (University of Münster) and geomatics (TU Bergakademie Freiberg) with 15+ years of shipping software for large enterprises such as BMW and Audi, as well as startups such as DriveNow and Sono Motors.

Spatial Data Meets AI Agents - What's Now Becoming Possible in Workflow Automation
AI agents are taking over workflow automation across all sorts of industries, automating workflows that could never be automated before. Spatial software and spatial data workflows won't be an exception. This shift is already changing how practitioners work with spatial data - and creating both pressure and opportunity for the software makers who serve them.
In this practical talk, you'll see firsthand how agents already work with spatial data, in a live demo on a multi-epoch monitoring use case. For anyone building or buying spatial software, this is a grounded look at the transition unfolding in the category. You will walk away with a clear picture of what is now becoming possible, and how you can get started automating your own workflows using AI agents.
