In a world facing unprecedented pressure on infrastructure, resources, and cities, the ability to make smarter decisions depends on how well we understand and connect the physical world. At the heart of that challenge lies geomatics - evolving from a discipline focused on data capture into a foundation for true geospatial intelligence. In this keynote, Burkhard Böckem, Chief Technology Officer at Hexagon, will share a visionary perspective on how geospatial intelligence, powered by precision data and amplified by AI, is driving innovation across infrastructure, construction, urban planning, and environmental monitoring. With real‑world examples and a forward‑looking lens, this session will inspire attendees to see geomatics not just as a technical discipline, but as a catalyst for progress.
