SAPOS® – the satellite positioning service of the Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the Laender of the Federal Republic of Germany. SAPOS® provides the official geodetic spatial reference in the form of a Germany-wide network of more than 270 GNSS reference stations.
Authorised by the federal states, the SAPOS® Central Office has been operating successfully for more than 20 years as the central point of contact and negotiating partner for customers operating across state borders or nationwide, as well as for companies that operate their own correction data services based on SAPOS® raw data. The central distribution office is based in Hanover at the Lower Saxony State Office for Landesamt für Geoinformation und Landesmessung Niedersachsen.
